Chapple Recovering from Terre Haute Crash

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (July 13, 2017) – Isaac Chapple, the 2016 USAC AMSOIL National Sprint Car Rookie of the Year, was injured in a practice accident at the Terre Haute Action Track Wednesday night.

Chapple suffered a concussion and a lacerated lung in the turn three crash. He remains at the Terre Haute Regional Hospital as of 1pm Thursday afternoon with hopes of being released later Thursday night.

Though bruised and banged up, doctors are keeping a watchful eye on Isaac’s lungs to make sure he is able to breathe easily without the aid of oxygen.

Isaac promises to be back at the racetrack soon. USAC wishes him a speedy recovery.
