Clarks Passing on Front Row Challenge

OSKALOOSA, Iowa (August 10, 2015) – Following some controversy regarding a heat race start during Sunday night’s Capitani Classic at Knoxville Raceway, NSL flagmen Doug and Justin Clark have opted to sit out Monday night’s NSL “Front Row Challenge” at Oskaloosa’s Southern Iowa Speedway.  Said controversy featured “Front Row Challenge” promoter Terry McCarl walking on to the track at Knoxville and gesturing towards the Clarks in the flagstand after the heat race start in question.

The NSL post on Facebook regarding the situation read as follows:

The NSL regrets that Doug and Justin Clark decided to opt out of tonight’s NSL event in Oskaloosa, however we respect and agree with their decision. Even though the situation that took place last night at Knoxville wasn’t an NSL sanctioned event, the NSL officials and management will be closely monitoring these types of actions from the competitors moving forward in all NSL sanctioned races.
