Mark Smith atop Early Rod End Supply Winged 360 Power Rankings

Lonnie Wheatley, TULSA, Okla. (March 6, 2019) – With the 2019 season beginning to pick up momentum after primarily Florida-based festivities in February, Pennsylvania’s Mark Smith is out to the early lead in the Rod End Supply Winged 360 Sprint Car Power Rankings.

After finishing the 2018 season ranked third in Rod End Supply Winged 360 Power Rankings, Smith has already racked up three wins this season with triumphs at Ocala, East Bay and Southern Raceway along with a runner-up finish in the King of 360’s finale.

Smith escaped the month of February with a 15-point edge over Tony Stewart, who tops the charts in both top-fives and top-tens with seven of each including a USCS score at Milton’s Southern Raceway.

After topping the Rod End Supply Winged 360 Power Rankings over each of the past three years, Sam Hafertepe, Jr., is third in the early going with New Jersey’s Davie Franek and California’s Cory Eliason also among the early top five.

The balance of the early top ten includes King of 360’s winner Terry McCarl, Seth Bergman, Wayne Johnson, Larry Wight and Tim Shaffer.
