Lonnie Wheatley, TULSA, Okla. (April 22, 2015) – As action begins to heat up throughout the country, so do the Open Wheel Power Rankings.

Current leaders going into the fourth weekend of April include Donny Schatz (STIDA Winged 410s), Brady Bacon (Infinity Shocks Non-Wing 410s), Aaron Reutzel (Rod End Supply Winged 360s), Ryan Bernal (Beaver Stripes Non-Wing 360s), Tanner Thorson (www.midgetmadness.com Midgets) and Chad Wilson (305s presented by Dodge City Raceway Park).

STIDA Winged 410 Sprint Car Power Rankings – Top 50 (Through April 19):

Donny Schatz retained the top spot in STIDA Winged 410 Sprint Car Power rankings although Paul McMahan trimmed the North Dakota driver’s lead to just 11 points after capturing his first World of Outlaws win of the season on Saturday at Perris Auto Speedway.

Shane Stewart cracked the top five after his second WoO score on Friday at Kings while Greg Hodnett moved past Daryn Pittman for seventh.

Lucas Wolfe was the biggest mover among those already in the top 25 with a seven position jump from 22nd to 15th after a Port Royal win on Saturday while Aaron Ott and Saturday All-Star winner Parker Price-Miller both cracked the top 25 this week after breaking into the top 50 last week.

Infinity Shocks Non-Wing 410 Sprint Car Power Rankings – Top 25 (Through April 19):

Outlasting Robert Ballou through Haubstadt traffic for his second USAC National win of the year on Saturday night, Brady Bacon has extended his advantage in Infinity Shocks Non-Wing 410 Sprint Car Power Rankings to 15 points.

With four overall wingless 410 wins, Bacon is 15 points ahead of Ballou with current USAC points leader Chase Stockon moving past Dave Darland for third while Kevin Thomas, Jr., still rounds out the current top five.

Bryan Clauson broke into the top 25 after his USAC triumph at Bloomington on Friday while Thomas Meseraull cracked the top 25 as well after taking Lawrenceburg honors on Saturday.

Rod End Supply Winged 360 Sprint Car Power Rankings – Top 50 (Through April 19):

Despite a pair of idle weekends due to weather, Aaron Reutzel still holds down the number one position in Rod End Supply Winged 360 Sprint Car Power Rankings.

With a handful of winged 360 wins already, Reutzel holds the top ranking by a 39 point margin over Seth Bergman and Johnny Herrera. Bergman gets the nod over Herrera for second with an April 11 win at Greenville, TX, running his win total to two compared to Herrera’s lone triumph.

Justin Sanders has worked his way into the top five with Bradley Terrell, Kevin Ramey, Mark Ruel, Jr., and Terry Gray all broke into the top 25.

While Ryan Bernal continues to hold the Beaver Stripes Non-Wing 360 Sprint Car Power Rankings lead, his advantage is slipping away as R.J. Johnson reeled off his third consecutive USAC Southwest win with a Saturday night triumph at Arizona Speedway.

Johnson, top-ranked in Beaver Stripes Non-Wing 360 Power Rankings over each of the past two years, moved up to second with his third win while Charles Davis, Jr., made a jump into the top five and Matt Rossi broke into the top ten.

Tanner Thorson remains atop the www.midgetmadness.com Power Rankings after a weekend that netted little change among the top 25.

While Danny Stratton and Ryan Greth took wins in the opening weekend of ARDC action and Chett Gehrke bested the Montpelier Midget opener, the only change among the top 25 was Stratton’s move up to 19th that booted Colten Cottle out of the top 25.

Chad Wilson continues to hold the number one position in the 305 Power Rankings presented by Dodge City Raceway Park as the overall field begins to take shape.

While Texas events dominated the early slate, April showers have slowed the Lone Star state reps as 305 action fires up elsewhere throughout the country with a major shakeup in the top 25 as a dozen new drivers make their way in.

Wilson’s current advantage is at 19 points over Ohio racers T.J. Michael and Jordan Ryan, with Michael getting the nod for second based on seven overall top-fives to Ryan’s four top-fives.
