Shaffer Banks $100K in Sprint Car World Championship

MANSFIELD, Ohio (April 28, 2018) – Saturday night was payday for Tim Shaffer as he fought off Aaron Reutzel to take the $100,000 winner’s share in the Sprint Car World Championship atop the Mansfield Motor Speedway clay oval.

After winning one of the Friday night preliminary features, Shaffer took command early and then held off Reutzel’s charges over the final rounds to post the win.  Chad Kemenah filled out the podium in third with Joey Saldana and Cap Henry rounding out the top five in the 50-lapper.
