Sunshine’s Travels Out West Net Western World Title and USAC Sprint Car Crown thus Far

The journey out west for Tyler Courtney has been quite the successful one thus far.

It began with “Sunshine” capturing the Western World Championships title at Arizona Speedway on November 2-3 and then ultimately putting the finishing touches on the 2018 Amsoil USAC National Sprint Car championship aboard the Clauson-Marshall-Newman Racing Priority Aviation No. 7bc entry during last weekend’s Oval Nationals at California’s Perris Auto Speedway.

After taking Western World honors, Courtney posted runner-up finishes during both of the initial nights of Oval Nationals competition before finishing off the season and the championship in the Saturday night, November 10, finale…
