Lonnie Wheatley, TULSA, Okla. (June 11, 2015) – The battles for the top Power Rankings positions are heating up as the dog days of summer rapidly approach.

Those out front through the opening weekend of June include Donny Schatz in STIDA Winged 410 Power Rankings, Robert Ballou in Infinity Shocks Non-Wing 410s, Justin Sanders in Rod End Supply Winged 360s, Darren Hagen in www.midgetmadness.com Midgets and Jordan Ryan in 305s presented by Dodge City Raceway Park.

STIDA Winged 410 Sprint Car Power Rankings – Top 50 (Through June 7):

Donny Schatz retains the top rung of the STIDA Winged 410 Sprint Car Power Rankings ladder, although Posse shoe Greg Hodnett has chipped away at his lead over the past two weekends.

While Schatz is winless since May 22, Hodnett picked up two more wins over the last two weekends to run his total to nine triumphs and closed to within 63 points of Schatz in the process.

Kerry Madsen jumped a pair of positions to third ahead of Paul McMahan and Shane Stewart while Joey Saldana moved up one spot to sixth after his first win of the year and Dale Blaney bounced up a pair of positions to seventh.

Infinity Shocks Non-Wing 410 Sprint Car Power Rankings – Top 25 (Through June 7):

Coming off an astounding three-race sweep of USAC’s Eastern Storm, Robert Ballou has stretched his advantage in Infinity Shocks Non-Wing 410 Power Rankings to 49 points over Dave Darland with Jon Stanbrough holding down third as Chase Stockon jumps three positions to fourth.

Tracy Hines has cracked the top ten while Nick Bilbee and Jerry Coons, Jr., both broke into the top 25.

Rod End Supply Winged 360 Sprint Car Power Rankings – Top 50 (Through June 7):

The battle for the top spot in Rod End Supply Winged 360 Sprint Car Power Rankings is tightening up as Justin Sanders’ lead has dwindled from 52 points to just ten markers over the past two weeks.

While Sanders has scored a pair of top tens over the past two weeks, Pennsylvania’s Mark Smith has reeled off another pair of wins to run his season total to seven while closing in on the leading Cali shoe.

Eagle Nationals winner Seth Bergman has closed to within 29 points in third with Aaron Reutzel and Johnny Herrera also within easy striking distance of the top ranking.

Randy Hannagan and Trey Starks both broke into the top ten while several ten-plus digit climbs among the 25 by contenders such as Jared Horstman, Lee Grosz and Wayne Johnson was bested by J.J. Hickle’s 73-position launch from 91st to 18th.

Ryan Bernal picked off his sixth win of the year with a USAC West Coast score at Tulare to close the gap on Beaver Stripes Non-Wing 360 Sprint Car Power Rankings leader R.J. Johnson to just 14 points.

While Bernal narrowed the gap on two-time and reigning Beaver Stripes Power Rankings champ Johnson, a pair of VRA events over the past two weeks enabled Guy Woodward to crack the top ten after a win on Saturday night.

Darren Hagen takes a 42-point advantage in the www.midgetmadness.com Midget Power Rankings into this week’s USAC Indiana Midget Week that kicked off Wednesday night at Gas City.

After winning last week’s POWRi Midget Week opener, Tanner Thorson closed just three points over the past two weeks on Hagen while Christopher Bell added a pair of POWRi Midget Week wins to close to within 14 points of Thorson for second.

With much of the top ten shuffling, POWRi Midget Week finale winner Tyler Thomas and Austin Brown both broke into the top ten.

After taking a weekend off from the 305 ranks to pick up a heat race win in his first winged 410 start, Jordan Ryan still holds an advantage of 26 points over Bobby Clark in the 305 Power Rankings presented by Dodge City Raceway Park.

John Ivy broke into the top ten after a Friday night win at Attica with C.J. Johnson, Darren Miller and Zach Blurton each cracking the top 25.
