The Wheatley Chronicles – Volume III, No. 39
Lonnie Wheatley, TULSA, Okla. (April 30, 2015) – Rolling into the month of May, a big weekend of open wheel racing action across the country headlines one of the busiest sports weekends of the year.
An ideal World of Outlaws triple of Salina, Pevely and Haubstadt headlines the weekend that also includes All Stars in Western Pennsylvania and King of the West at Chico.
The ASCS National Tour finally gets back into the swing of the things with the Rock ‘N Roll 50 at West Memphis while non-wing action in Indiana features a pair of KISS events bookending MSCS action at Montpelier.
Meanwhile, to the west much hype is in the air about the Gardner vs. Spencer matchup at Perris on Saturday although Richard Vander Weerd has topped the most recent pair of PAS tilts.
Midgets are in action as well with Mid-Missouri Nationals for POWRi at Grain Valley and Lucas Oil Speedway among the weekend slate.
