Rico Rocks in Shaheen’s Super Weekend Opener

JACKSONVILLE, Ill. (October 9, 2015) – Rico Abreu kicked off the Shaheen’s Super Weekend at Jacksonville Speedway by winning Friday night’s 25-lap Midwest Open Wheel Association (MOWA) Sprint Car feature event from the front row outside starting position.

Abreu drove the Abreu Vineyards No. 24 to victory lane ahead of Jimmy Hurley, Jim Moughan, Brad Loyet and Parker Price-Miller with sixth-place finisher taking a slim points lead over Paul Nienhiser into Saturday night’s season-ending MOWA event at Jacksonville.
